    What's This

Using a top-secret, highly sophisticated algorithm that may or may not have been co-developed by NASA, the Grassroots Motorsports Bang For The Buck Index is a 100-point scale that indicates which of the new cars we've reviewed over the years actually provide the greatest bang for the buck.

The highly-guarded formula--which is securely stored in the floor safe in Scott's office and protected by razor wire and laser-wielding ferrets--takes into account our ratings, the car's power-to-weight ratio, its price and other factors to determine the true Bang For The Buck.
