According to Motorsport.com and other sources, the president and CEO of WC Vision, which manages the Pirelli World Challenge series, has just resigned. Scott Bove’s resignation was unanimously accepted, and Greg Gill, the current general manager, will be the interim CEO.
What does this mean for the SCCA-sanctioned race series? It’s too early to tell, but Bove’s tenure was characterized by growth, and by the pains that often accompany it. His resignation marks the end of an era.
