Haven't read Classic Motorsports in the past, seems a good reason to give it a shot.

Thank you. There's good stuff in there. If you like GRM, then Classic Motorsports should interest you as well.

I'm also getting old enough where "classic" starts to mean stuff that was new when I was a kid in the 80's.

"Classic" to me brings visions of 50's/60's sports cars and the like, and while that's fun to see too, there's an in between ground of 80's era hot hatches and sports cars with large enthusiast followings that are now pushing 30+ years old like E30's, and mk1 / mk2 VW's, GTV6's, etc. that are fun to see in the mix as well.

So, maybe a question for the editors, or forum members in general, but with "Classic" in the title, what makes something a Classic?

That is an excellent question. Classic Motorsports centers on sports cars from the '50s and '60s: MGB, TR6, E-type, Shelby, etc. But, yes, like you noted, you'll see some later stuff in there, too. We recently profiled the Porsche 964. We've done E30 M3 and early Miata. The next issue talks about the original MR2. (Hard to believe they're now that old; they grow up so quickly.)

That would be perfect for my waiting room. Should go nicely with GRM mag, American Rifleman, or whatever the NRA mag is, and People. I let the subscription to People lapse, "I never read that one anyway," and heard about it immediately.

Can I extend the GRM subscription and get the deal on the Classic Motorsports? I guess I could just click the link, but I am so very lazy.

That's actually a great question, because clicking the link doesn't make the answer obvious.

Yes, you can extend your GRM subscription and get the deal on Classic (or vice versa). Click the link HERE for the BOGO deal, and make sure you enter your order info using the same name and address your existing subscription is under. The system will find you and recognize that this is a renewal, and will add the new sub onto the end of your existing one. (And yes, it actually works--which is both comforting and creepy.)

Done. Thanks, GRM crew! I don't suppose you have any Dork stickers going unused in a box somewhere. My P71 wants one.
