Cool beans.
What’s #GRIDLIFE? The festival describes itself simply: Where speed meets sound. Sounds accurate to us. And after an awesome time last year, we’re again pointing the Grassroots Motorsports van at Road Atlanta on August 25 for a weekend at #GRIDLIFE. We’ll be camping, too, so watch out for a bunch of us in Grassroots Motorsports T-shirts cooking breakfast every morning.
What’s there? In short, everything. Besides some great music-–headliners this year are Ludacris, Savoy, The Hood Internet, and Willy Joy-–there will be drifting, road racing, ride-alongs, time trials, car shows and tons of vendors. Don’t forget the big names, too-–last year we spotted driver Chris Forsberg hanging out with fans and sliding his awesome Mustang around Road Atlanta. Yes, that’s correct: Full-course drifting is back at Road Atlanta. And did we mention the party? #GRIDLIFE is one heck of a party, boasting one of the best infield vibes of any event all year. It ties together almost every aspect of car culture, and the result is a melting pot of cool cars, cool people and, yes, cool music.
Gridlife South starts August 25 at Road Atlanta. We’ll see you there. Three-day tickets start at $65 and are available here.
Anyone want to babysit my kids? You can drive them around in the R63. I really want to go to a Gridlife event.
And if anybody is planning on camping, look for my ex-GRM Van wearing our logo in the camping area, and feel free to camp with us.
