Yup, one year ends, and another begins. The Roar Before the Rolex 24 takes place in just a few days: January 4-6, 2020, to be precise.

We don’t have an official presence planned, but don’t be surprised if you see several GRMers in and about the paddock. (Oh, and if you do see us, we might ask you to hold a light or something.)

We will be back at the track for the race itself, and we still have our super-special tickets available. And don’t forget that our spectator guide can be found online.

See you there.

Just a bump because the weekend will be here before we all know it.

Caught a 12 minute video of practice over the weekend, the C8.R looks amazing, but sounds odd, the new 911 looks and sounds fantastic.

I look forward to watching the race to see how the new cars stack up.

Yeah, that's one of the things that I enjoy about the Roar: It's a chance to see (and hear) the cars before the big show.

So many years when I worked on teams in the 80s and 90s there would be no spectators at the ROAR. Just us teams.

Yesterday ... a great crowd.  And many very knowledgable fans.  Great weather.  Not much more you could ask for.  Even track security seemed more laid back than usual.

I think because of the low entry, families brought a lot of kids, and there was the Boy Scout promotion... result = a lot of kids got great exposure to racing.   Maybe positive for the future.  yes

I thought i might run into David.  (not that he knew i was looking for him laugh)

We did get to pass by the World Headquarters before heading home...
