You. Us. A great track. Three days of Time Trial competition.

That’s the SCCA Time Trials Nationals in a nutshell. The Tire Rack SCCA Time Trials Nationals Powered by Hagerty returns to Kentucky’s NCM Motorsports Park September 27-29.

J.G. Pasterjak will be there running our Corvette Z06 project car. Outrun him and maybe he’ll have a special treat for you. (Note: Or he might not.)

Other reasons to join us:

• It’s billed as the largest time trial event in the U.S.

• Final standings determined by both Time Attack (fastest lap time) and TrackSprint (fastest time from a standing start) competition.

• Three days of cars, food, friends and paddock revelry. (We mentioned the food, right?)

• Free seminars from our friends in the business: APEX Pro, Hagerty, Hawk, Koni and Racers360 plus the SCCA and NCM teams.

• Free test and tune at NCM on September 26 courtesy of the Holley Performance Day–yes, free track time for Time Trials Nationals registrants.

I may come over on saturday to say hi and watch some action.  I chickened out of doing the whole event, my MX-5 isn't really track prepped and the thought of stuffing it sends me scurrying back to the cones of autocross.

Spoolpigeon should be there with the Cold Lotion Probe.

Indeed he will. I'll be shooting a video feature on the car, and if time and workload permits maybe even hopping behind the wheel during the test day for a sesh.

Man, what a E36 M3ty time to be recovering from a hospital visit. I was so excited to bring the Exocet up, but I don't think I'm going to be in fighting shape for it this weekend. I had a blast at the WCC track day with Spoolpigeon and co. That car is goofy fun.

In semi related news, sweet 2 in the air shot for the corvette. I only have managed to get 1 in the air on camera.

Not gonna lie: I go at the curbs way harder when I see a photographer on track. If I could just hire like 20 guys with cameras to stand around i could probably set lap records at half the tracks in the country.

In reply to JG Pasterjak :

Haha! Ex-freakin-xactly - I've been trying after a two in the air shot and one of my Exocet shooting fireballs for a while now. Zach usually shoots NCM and does a fantastic job. I expect a photo of 4 in the air by Monday. I believe in you!

I didn't have my GoPro, but Cold Lotion had 2 wheels roughly 2 feet in the air after smacking 12 super hard while I was chasing. I really wish I had it on video.
