BSI Racing has been prepping Miata race cars for decades, and the torch has been passed: Company founder Stu Brumer has sold the firm to racer Shea Holbrook Chorley and husband Nick Chorley. Shea Holbrook Chorley has driven in Pirelli World Challenge, Lamborghini Super Trofeo Series and the W Series. More recently, she has managed Hixon Motor Sports, a Global Mazda MX-5 Cup team.

BSI Racing is located a few minutes north of Daytona International Speedway, just around the corner from GRM. The two companies have worked together since the mid ’90s, with our Miata project recently visiting its facility for some R&R

We value the BSI legacy and know we have big shoes to fill,” Shea Holbrook Chorley posted to her Facebook. “We couldn’t be happier to be back in the club racing market where I got my start in the industry. Our focus will be our customers, quality, commitment, and having fun!”

She is so incredibly nice. About 4 years ago, my daughter and I did a TNIA event at PBIR and Shea was the event leader. The afternoon before TNIA there was a novice event included. Shea spent a lot of time with my daughter and could not have been sweeter. I've been a huge fan of hers ever since!!

That's cool, I hear that her and her husband are good people.

Yeah, happy to see the new owners already know the community.

Refresh my memory.........wasn't BSI a VW racing parts supplier once upon a time? I seem to recall getting something from them for my ITB VW back just before the turn of the century.......See what I did there?laugh

Yes, they did VWs back in the day. In fact, when we met Stu in the mid '90s, he was all about VWs. Paul, the shop manager, is fluent in VW.
