One of those was behind the GM store in Three Hills Alberta a few years ago. Gave me bad thoughts.
One of our forum members, Koopsy, was on a search for a solid, serviceable vintage race car. His search brought him to an intriguing option: a third-generation Camaro. But this isn’t just any car plucked from the street. It competed for two years in the Player’s Challenge, a one-make series held in Canada from the late 1980s to the early ‘90s. This looks like a solid way to enjoy some motorsports history without breaking the bank.

That series was great entertainment. I saw several races at Mosport and Trois-Rivieres over the years.
Ron Fellows and Richard Spenard were regulars in that series for a few years, fantastic racing on great tracks. I raced one of them in Firehawk for a year, compared to what we have now they are underpowered (if stock) but at the time they were a pretty damn decent track car considering they were only lightly modified for the series.
