The UTCC will take to the hills of VIR this Friday.
We’re traveling to two fantastic tracks this weekend: Virginia International Raceway and Road America.
Much of the staff, including Rick, JG, Chris and myself will be making the hike up to Alton, Virginia, for the 2015 Tire Rack Ultimate Track Car Challenge on Friday at Virginia International Raceway. We have 52 track monsters, an empty ribbon of asphalt and a day to find out who is the fastest. Find yourself in the area? Come on out. Spectators pay $10 at the gate.
Too far from VIR? Associate Publisher Joe Gearin is traveling up to Wisconsin to take in The Hawk International Challenge with Brian Redman, a large vintage racing festival held at Road America. He’ll also be sticking around at Road America for Monday’s Chin Motorsports track day. What’ll he be driving? A very fast Focus ST provided by Mueller Motorwerks.
