Our Monterey Kickoff Cruise-In will feature a full wine station, food trucks, classic cars and great people.
There will be hundreds of exotics auctioned off next week.
There's something for everyone at Monterey.

We’re making our way to California this weekend to take in Monterey Car Week. The festivities start on Tuesday, August 11, with our Classic Motorsports Monterey Kickoff Cruise-In at Folktale Winery starting at 4:00 p.m. It costs nothing to attend and everyone is invited.

Throughout the rest of the week, we’ll be visiting many of the auctions and events listed in our Monterey Playbook. Want to track us down? Follow Classic Motorsports on Facebook. We’ll be posting where we are and where we’re going throughout the week.

Want to read all about the happenings at one of the biggest collector car shows of the year? Subscribe to Classic Motorsports.

Meanwhile, as some staff members are boarding planes, Art Director JG Pasterjak will be headed to Orange County Convention Center For an SCCA Solo event in our project Formula 500.

Margie and I will be a the Quail!

I also want to personally welcome everyone to our welcome party Tuesday night and the the Concours de' Lemon on Saturday. Both are free and we will have hundreds of cool cars on display between the two events.

We have some really cool stuff (almost 100 entrants thus far) at the Lemons event. Most of the guys you see on car show TV stuff will be there too. Guys like Leno, Carrini and Road Kill guys.

So this is the same location as last year? It was Chateau Julien but they changed ownership to Folktale?
