Winner Announced: Wear Your Helmet to Work Day

They came, they saw, they wore helmets: We received hundreds of submissions for this year's Wear Your Helmet to Work Day presented by Stilo, but at the end of the day only one could be chosen as our winner, claiming the new SA2020- and FIA 8859-rated Stilo ST5 GT composite helmet.

What is Wear Your Helmet to Work Day? Simple: It's the one day of the year when we can share our motorsports passion with the rest of the world (or at least those we see during the workday). Strike up a shock tuning conversation by the water cooler. Berate your cubemate because you can do a driver change faster than they can move out of the way of your filing cabinet. Sleep in a meeting because your visor is tinted. You can even enjoy your safest commute of the year thanks to your trusty helmet.

Congratulations to Grassroots Motorsports Instagram follower readtull for this winning submission:

Some congratulations from our friends at Stilo:

We hope you enjoy your new Stilo helmet! Beautiful Italian design and craftsmanship define the new SA2020 and FIA 8859 Stilo ST5 GT composite helmet. Exclusive lightweight composite shell technology ensures that you love the helmet just as much after a couple of hours in the race car as when it is sitting on your office shelf. Designed to accommodate integrated electronics, hydration and/or forced air. It's the helmet of choice for the racer who knows! #AnyCompetitionOneHelmet

As a pet owner, I'm happy to lose to a helmeted veterinarian. Congratulations readtull.

The human may have submitted the photo, but the dog won the helmet... Luckily for both, I'm sure a good belly rub would be the dogs preferred prize anyway.

Am I the only one who would be concerned if my child's bus driver rolled up with a helmet on?  laugh

In reply to kazoospec :

Don't worry, he has a high-visibility vest on. So it's ok.

In reply to kazoospec :

it would depend on what tread wear tires were on the bus!
