Project cars are a great part of our job, and some of the most popular editorial in the magazine. But they’re also bittersweet companions because we know that eventually we’ll have to move on to the next thing to keep the content fresh. Such is the case with our 2012 Mustang GT CAM-C project. The upcoming 2017 SCCA Solo Nationals will be the last hurrah as we make room for the next project. Read the ad carefully for deeply imbedded subtextual hints as to what that next project might be.

All comfort and convenience items still in place and functional. Power windows, stereo, a/c (recent a/c clutch replacement), power locks, cruise control.
3425 pounds as it sits. Potential to get to 3350 minimum is fairly easy.
National trophy-capable CAM car. Probably Championship-capable in the right hands (and if you can get Madsen super drunk the night before). Dixie Tour winner. Third at CAM Invitational in ‘16. Don’t even ask about the ‘16 Solo Championship event because I’m still bitter that my own prep failure cost me a trophy. Anyway, the thing is fast and easy to dive and someone with actual talent could probably do a hell of a lot better than I did with it, and I did fairly well.
So here’s the deal: This will be available right after impound at Solo Nationals. There’s a lot of takeoff/stock stuff that comes with the car, so it’s not really the kind of thing that could be easily shipped. So here’s the choices:
1) Pick up at Solo Nationals. I will bring car and all associated pieces and tow home an empty trailer.
2) I can deliver to somewhere on my way home from Solo Nationals. Google a route from Lincoln, Nebraska, to Ormond Beach, Florida, and I can meet you somewhere along that route.
3) You come to Florida and get it.
4) You hire a shipper that understands there’s a bunch of other stuff and it will be in a neat pile in my shop and its their responsibility to load it.

Will consider trades for (bone-stock or A Street/SSR prepped) 2003-‘04 C5 Z06 + cash.
Also, if you don’t want the stock hood, I’ll gladly keep it and knock a few bucks off. It looks great hanging in my shop. But, technically it goes with the car, so if you want it, I get that, too.

OK, so you guys don't want a CAM-C Mustang any more- how about a Group 5 Rally Mustang instead, residing at your (new) remote office in Pennsylvania? 
I'll handle the prep, driving, and whatever photos and writing you request. When can I pick it up?

I dunno, no rear seat for grandma and the kiddies. Could be a tough sell without that piece.

Giving this a little bumparoo because we've dropped the price and revised the listing slightly. Really want this to stay in a place where we can see someone being awesome with it from time to time.
