Don't think they had an LSD factory, but it uses the same basic trans as Saab 9-5s, which have a ton of cheap torsen type lsds floating around on eBay.
This 2004 Saturn Ion Redline has 164,000 miles on the body and 86,000 on the engine. The bad news, though: needs a head gasket.

2 rear new tires . Rear calipers, rotors and brake pads were changed last summer . Dual pass endplate Option B H/E I have a tune pcm , 60Lb injectors and small S/C pulley 2.8 ( for extra horse power… not installed ). It has a nice pioneer head unit with Bluetooth and nice sound system. Sun roof . 6k new on cluth . 5 speed manual transmission .

I like them a lot, I think they are pretty comparable in setup to the Cobalt SS. From what I understand the suspension is set up pretty well right out of the box. I don't know too much about that powertrain though...is a head gasket failure common on these engines at 86,000 mi?
