Pete Schroeder and this author, son Per Schroeder, made progress on the LeGrand project car over the weekend.

First, the Kawasaki KZ engine came out of the car. We then finished welding in the new differential mounts. We took the time to clean up and reinforce the rear structure. The rear framework will get a fresh coat of paint before we reassemble things.

Per Schroeder:

I kept taking the gloves on an off to do various bits of work. I wind up with more burns on my biceps…above the glove area…more than anywhere else.
