Saab 99: Getting ready for paint! Jul 12, 2007
Tomorrow we’ll be purchasing what we need to paint most of the Saab 99 over the weekend. We’ve decided to stick with the Antelope Brown (YR06), as we’re not expecting to have to paint the hood or roof at this time.
We removed the bumpers and will be removing the lights and door handles next.
We still have some work to do on our left rear fender lip. In a perfect world, we would have replaced the entire fender lip with a section of replacement sheet metal, but instead we patched the existing fender. This makes the filling and sanding a bit more work to get the contours close.
