Saab 99: Saab Engine Build Starts Mar 3, 2008
When we last posted, we were in the middle of tearing down our core engine. We’ve since ordered pistons, bearings, a camshaft and a flywheel. The head has now been ported and it’s waiting for new valve guides.
We disconnected the old engine from the surrounding chassis, and we’re just waiting for some free time with an engine hoist to lift it out.
