Saab 99: Saab Shakedown Success! Jan 4, 2008
Since our goal is to successfully complete a stage rally, we’re especially concerned with durability and reliability. To that end, we drove our Saab out to Ocala Gran Prix, ran continuous laps and drove home. The 150-mile round trip was without any issues whatsoever, so we’re confident that our next test, a TSD rally in Tampa, will go smoothly.
There’s a bit of body roll, but it runs well! We were noticing quite a bit of inside wheelspin when exiting corners. A limited slip differential is on our must-do list.
