What’s the Diff?

We started looking over our Gripper clutch-type limited slip differential for our Saab. We’ve got to machine the outer housing a bit for it to fit in the Saab’s transmission case, but that shouldn’t be too difficult.

We’re holding the planetary driver, which holds the cross bars for the planetary gears. The diff is designed to lock up harder on acceleration than deceleration to help with turn-in.
