Honda Civic Si: Missed the rain Jun 13, 2005

While some GRMers were slogging through the mud at DeLand airport yesterday, the Civic was enjoying some sunshine at the Martin Sports Car Club’s Tavares event. The rain seemed to let up somewhere around Sanford, Fla., and the site was dry by the time the runs started. Our Street Touring class again had only one car, so we took the win. We ran hot tire pressures of 38 psi rear and 41 psi front. Before getting our trophy, however, we had some cake—of the birthday kind. Each Martin event now has a birthday celebration for the members who were born that month. (Why? Because people like cake.)

New suspension parts for the Civic are on the way. We’re just waiting for some of them to get anodized first.
