Dodge Neon ACR: Quick, Take a Picture Before It Blows Up Again Jan 21, 2009

Our Neon has had some issues since we bought it in July of 2008. The first issue was that, well, it didn’t really have an engine. The second issue was that the engine we built for it lasted about six miles—it turns out that the head that we got had mismatched camshaft bearing caps and the intake cam seized.

Our latest engine appears to be running just fine, and we drove it to the office this morning. Hooray!

Those wheels look so….. right. I have a buddy that has a 97 ACR that he drag races, and he wanted to put those wheels in red on his black car. I made fun of him. But… now i'm second guessing.

Agreed about the wheels. I've seen them on alot of Miatas on the net but never liked them, but they look “correct” on a Neon.
