Aug 2, 2016 update to the Mazda Rotary Miata project car

A New Front Clip for the Rotary Miata

We also added a hardtop for inclement weather.

After getting the drivetrain mostly sorted out, it was time to start focusing on the car’s appearance. Most noticeably, we were missing front fenders and a bumper.

Fortunately, our friends at Treasure Coast Miata came to the rescue. We trailered our rotary roadster down to their headquarters in Hobe Sound, Florida, where we had our pick of straight body panels to install on the car. Treasure Coast Miatas specializes in recycling and reusing Miata parts to keep maintenance costs down for owners.
