To get the proper position on our Sparco seat without using the slider, we had to drill one new hole and convince a few others to line up more properly using a drill and some force, but the end result is that our Sparo Evo is very securely mounted directly to the base, which is in turn mounted securely to the car. This position places us low in the cockpit; if you had short arms, you’d have a hard time touching the ceiling.
