Honda Civic SI: Watching our backsides May 23, 2005
When we removed the trailer hitch from the Civic, it was pretty apparent that something was missing…the guts of the bumper. Because space is so tight, the stock rear bumper had been replaced when the trailer hitch was installed, so we went to our friendly Honda dealer here in town and ordered up a new bumper rail to provide that extra bit of just-in-case protection from rear collisions at the track. This adds 13.25 pounds to our running tally.
