Update by David S. Wallens to the BMW M3 project car
Apr 27, 2017

Our new Toyo Proxes T1 Sport tires are mounted on our equally new TSW Ascent wheels. They look awesome—something a little more contemporary than our current setup.

So why aren’t the wheels and tires already on the car? Something wrong? No, not quite. The person managing this project broke an arm.

He should be back in the game shortly.

If anything, this break has given us a chance to research and order some more parts…

Wow! I am not a shiny chrome kind of guy and yes I realize those are not all that blingy but they do look really sweet! Ha! Is there no one else there that can put on a set of wheels/tires? Just messing with you...........hope he heals up quickly.

They're not chrome but, yeah, do look it. It's more like a matte finish paired with some kind of glossy finish. And between the Mitty, a ton of side projects (I have said too much) and other travel, I figure the car can sit for a bit.

You're telling me. This hurts. Plus I want to do a full photo shoot with the new wheels. I do better photo work with both hands. Soon. Soon.

I feel your pain! Wrenched an ankle badly falling out of a whitewater raft, foot hung in the raft! The hell of it is I was guiding! Oops! Rookie mistake!

Doh! See, it's always the little stuff that trips you up.
