Mini Cooper S: Rotas get cleaned and prepped Jan 4, 2007
We’re more than a little excited about our newest project car, the 2007 MINI Cooper S. We’re going to use the same Rota 16x6.5-inch wheels for our race tires that we had on our 2005 Cooper. That meant about an hour’s worth of scraping of our red polka dots. Polka dots are soooo 2006.
Next, we’re going to figure out the tire situation. We’re thinking about running the 2007 season on Hoosier A6s, as they’re very good at putting down the power, better than the Kumho V710s…and our Cooper S is quite a bit more powerful than our Cooper was.
