My daily driver since 2011, purchased new by wife, 260k miles as of 08/2014. Original clutch, original rear drum brakes, and the original shocks still control the springs very well with no visible leakage. I’m amazed by the shock longevity considering the number of potholes they have seen in the past 14 years. It has never needed anything other than the recommended preventative maintenance and a new muffler every 4 to 5 years.
