1974 Austin Mini - Integra powered

18

Started life as a Swedish-market 74 Austin 1275gt with clubman front. As a 1275gt, it came with the 12” wheels and 8.4 inch disc brakes. Most of that stuff is gone now, as I’ve converted it to a full carbon round front which is removeable, and the powertrain is now a 99 Integra LS B18b. Squeezed it all in without lengthening the front end. Runs standard Honda 5 speed gearbox, and an OBX LSD. 0-60 comes up in the low 5 sec range. Braking is further upgraded with Wilwood 4 piston billet calipers on custom modified 9.5” vented discs. On the inside, there is a 6 point chrome-moly cage, Cobra racing seat with 5 pt harness, and a carbon fiber dash with autometer ultralite guages. Car has been featured in Mini World magazine, Jan 08.
