Well it was time to upgrade some more so the heavy steel factory intake/air filter assembly was ditched for the ultra-lightweight Racing Beat unit with foam filter. This does require disconnecting of the airpump, which is no big deal. I also ordered up an airpump block off plate and a double-sheeve alternator pulley, which I will swap in later. The air intake setup did add a significant amount of power, Racing Beat has all of those records and championships for a reason!
