TR7, with a performace built Buick 3.8L (231) V6 swapped in place of the stock 4 banger. It's mated to a 5-speed GM transmission (T-5). Total suspension rebuild with Polyurethane bushings, springs, KONI performance shocks and struts, etc. Awesome Compomotive wheels & BF Goodrich tires. This car was the result of dreaming and planning followed by three years of hard work (and a lot of cash invested). Originally a Florida car, this car is virtually rust free. The good stuff: Engine - Performance built Buick V6 3.8 liter (231ci), utilizing "classic hot rod tricks" including: -Bore over .040" -High Compression Federal Mogul Aluminum Pistons (10:1 Compression Ratio ) -Kenne Bell Mark 2X custom ground Cam shaft ( gives a REALLY great "lope" on idle) -Heads Ported and Polished -Stainless Steel Intake and Exhast Valves (by Manley)- -high Rev Kenne Bell Valve Springs -High flow, high pressure oil pump -Complete rotating assembly balanced (including flywheel, and pressure plate) -Griffin Aluminum Racing radiator, and electric fan -Exhaust Headers, with ceramic wrap -Accel High Voltage HEI Coil, and Distributor -electric fuel pump -High Torque Gear reduction starter -Fuel pressure regulator -Edelbrock 400cfm 4-barrel carberator, with manual choke -True Dual exhaust system with cross-over pipe -Estimated 290 horsepower (using the Kenne Bell build sheet) - Misc - -Stainless Steel braided Flex brake lines -needle bearing Strut kit (from TS Imports for easer turning) -Poly spring purch pads -Hurst Five Speed shifter mated to a Borg Warner T-5 transmission from a V-8 1987 Camaro. -Battery moved to the trunk of the car for better weight distribution. -Dual U-Joint Custom Drive Shaft (Balanced) -All rear brake components new (cylinders, shoes, springs, clips Drums turned) -Poly-urethane Bushings thru-out, front and rear, and sub frame mounts. -Uprated Springs, front and rear. -30th Anniversary Edition Car, with glove box mounted plaque. -Chrome Alternator -Chrome Valve Covers, Air cleaner, and Exhaust tips. -Uses Stock hood, and stock hood latch components in original location.
