I own a 1993 Subaru Impreza L. I bought it when i was 15 from an old lady as my first car. I had already developed an obsession with Subaru before hand and i knew i wanted to modify it. Over a few years of working on it and finding awesome deals on used parts on RS25.com and the junkyard(who would have thought you can get a HKS intake for $2.88), i have come to this level. On July 5th, 5 days before i turned 17, i started a hybrid turbo build. With the help of a my very own support group on RS25.com, my friend Rob, Dad, and my generous girlfriend’s mom for letting me use her garage, i started. Just as i completed it at the end of summer break, my shortblock blew. Again i tore into the car which i worked so hard on throughout the 100 degree summer days. Fast forward through almost a year of problems and troubleshooting, i am now enjoying my turbo’d Impreza.
