1996 Miata updates:
Time for some upgrades Sep 13, 2010
After a year or so of contented driving I have finally gotten around to some basic upgrades. I have added a set of FM sway-bars, given the car an alignment, and purchased some performance tires for it.
Wee the car can really corner now, Overall grip levels are way up, though I need to do a bit of tuning to recapture some of the handling balance it once had.
And the new tire have uncovered the need for some more maintenance work, as high RPM launches no longer provide me with the satisfying smell of burnt rubber, instead it burns my nose with the acrid smell of a slipping clutch.
Next on my todo list: Roll Bar, Clutch, Shocks and springs
