ENGINE MODIFICATIONS: Mexican 302 block, Scat cast steel stroker (347) crank, Crower Sportsman rods, Wiseco custom pistons, Techcraft/Elgin solid cam, Competition Cams solid lifters, Edelbrock Performer RPM heads, Com Cams aluminum roller rocker arms and Magnum push-rods, Comp Cams dual valve springs w/ dampers, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, Holley 650DP carburetor (1-inch open spacer), Fel-Pro gaskets, ARP bolts and studs, BHJ harmonic balancer.

Engine Dyno HP/TQ: 425@5900/421@4500

SUSPENSION MODIFICATIONS: Front: 1” swaybar, Total Control lower control arms, Maier Racing upper control arms w/ re-worked ball joint angle, relocated (1”) upper control arms, 620 lb springs. Rear: 1” lower 160 lb leaf springs, Maier Racing panard bar, Currie 9” rear-end w/ 3.50 gears and a Detroit Locker.

OTHER MODIFICATIONS: Brakes: front has Global West Pro-Vintage Disc Brake Kit w/ 12” Wilwood rotors and SuperLite calipers on Granada spindles. Rear has 12” Wilwood rotors and Dynalite II calipers. 70’s Ford truck master cylinder with aftermarket power booster. Engine compartment: Howe aluminum radiator w/ heat exchanger for oil. Sweet power steering pump. MSD 6T ignition, Pro-Billet distributor and 9mm wires. Modified C4 trans with 3500 RPM stall convertor.

Nice! What color is the gold? Is it Prairie Bronze? My stang is that color and I was considering doing something like on yours, but the opposite. It would be nice to know some of the details about the car also.

I used the Hertz Shelby gold which was DuPont Centari 43496-AM Inca Gold Metallic. I gave this to my painter and he cross referenced it to whatever the hell paint he was using.
