do grounding kits really help with the car performance ?

Maybe. I'm no expert, but I think the kit can make a difference. Especially if you have a plastic intake manifold. I'm not sure if it's ever been truly proven though. It seemed my car at idle was a bit smoother after the GK install. However the kit may not be the reason why. Either way I'm glad I installed it.

I gotta admit, it's pretty cool to see a well modded RS in the sea of turbo imprezas. Well done sir.

Thanks Matt, I didn't think I'd keep the car as long as I have. It may not be the most competitive car out there, but it can hold it's own and it has always done everything I've asked of it. Plus the car is still faster than it's driver.
