1969 Datsun 1600 Roadster

drive to and from high school this Spring. Original and 99% stock, its a very rare find. My Dad is an Alfa man, owning a Horst Kwech Trans-Am replica GTV 1750. However, I fell into the realm of Datto’s and found this car, SPL311-24633, only a few miles from my home in Seattle. It’s a great car to drive, very hands on and direct user-to-road senses through the road and wheel. The only downside is when people mistake it as a fatty MGB or other roadsters. I am very lucky to have this car. Its my dream car, and because I’m only 16, I’ve kind of achieved dream car status a bit too soon!

Very nice car. I'm impressed a 16 Yo would be driving this. Don't worry about the mistaken identity, people always call my Spitfire an MG.

Nice roadster! Mine began life as a 1600 too, but I have owned it a long time so did many projects to it. The best was the Ford engine, fuel injected, turbocharged, yadda... But I do love an original 1600 like yours. Enjoy the ride!
