I think that the Kia Koup may be a pleasant surprise to the enthusiast community with it's performance/value ratio. I hope the performance aftermarket comes through with parts to make it even more fun.

I agree, after a week with the Koup it has all the necessary requirements for the import tuner scene. The car gives you a very good base to start with, I can see all the typical stuff comming down the road. The first thing i noticed about the car is there's a large amount of room between the the exhaust manifold and firewall, should make for an easy turbo upgrade.
