I wish my Contour was half as nice as yours!

Nice wheels, those K1s can be tough to find in 4x108. Silly ford and their non-standard bolt pattern.

Thanks for the comments. Keep in mind that pictures lie. The "posed" shots are from a long while ago (~2003?), soon after I got the wheels, but before I put on the Koni/Roush. Autocross pics are from '05 or '06, with current config. Car still looks OK, but has some additional dings and scratches due to the kids and their bikes and scooters. Even so, pics might hide most of that. I try to take good care of it, and it doesn't get that many miles in a year. I'm only now about to break 100k. Tire Rack stopped selling the K-1's for us soon after I got them, but there seem to be plenty of wheels to choose from, including the newer stuff from Kosei.

Sadly, bit by the infamous wiring harness issues (99M03). A better man might have saved her, (and hopefully still will). I balked at the expense of the fix at approximately $2600, but when I found the parts to be obsolete and unavailable, the $3500 "cash for clunkers" promotion at a local dealer became too good to pass up. I will miss this car, but so far the "new" used Acura in the stable is helping me through my grief pretty well.
