I have owned this short door TR2 since April 1987. I attended the 1987 VTR Nationals in Atlanta where it was the oldest Triumph in attendance. After a long “sleep” due to job and children she re-appeared for the 2006 VTR Nationals in Dallas. Next in line for a restoration (after my current work on a TR10 Estate Wagon) she’s hoping to sport a new Cobalt Blue coat with grey leather interior. Until then she’ll remain a fun driver.
