Clearing out the gauges Jul 29, 2010
Found a good deal on a Stack Dash and Datalogger and installed that earlier this year. No more gauges with the exception of an Autometer fuel guage in the center console. Added a CDS GPS unit, specific to the Stack dash, to supply me with a speed input and start marker for the lap times. No need for a timing beacon…
Attended a few track days in June, the T3/T04E 50trim turbo was a good choice, now I just need to do a better job on the tune and get to the dyno. Oil temps were hitting 280F when running 14psi within 5 laps. Turning down the boost to 10psi and I could go 25 minute sessions before oil temps got critical!
Next on the list is an oil cooler install and some extra heat wrap to the turbo manifold.
