Ford Focus Street Edition
Added on June 26 by Hal

I purchased my Focus new in March 2001. As with any other vehicle I have ever owned I started modifying it almost immediately.

My goal was to have a car with reasonable performance and decent gas mileage that would not attract “undue attention”

It took 5 years but I now have a car that has 223 FWHP, 187 LB/Ft of torque and still gets 33mpg on the highway (23-25 in town). And it still looks like most other Focus sedans.

Modifications are:

Interior: Door Lock button light mod

Exterior: Bullitt Mustang Gas Door Black Powdercoated Stock Wheels Redline Tuning Hood struts Fog Light mod

Suspension: SVT Suspension(Struts, Shocks and Springs) SVT Brake Conversion Torsen LSD Eibach Rear Sway Bar

Engine:

Powerworks Supercharger Fidanza Cam Gears Ford Racing Stage 2 Cams FocusSport Street Header Random Technology Catalytic Converter Focus Central Flexpipe Borla Cat-Back Exhaust Screamin Demon Coil Ford Contour Sparkplug Wires Z-Engineering Rear Motor Mount

Hal, do you have a more complete/detailed list of your engine mods? I'm thinking of picking up a beater ZX3 (have one now on its last legs, and I had an SVT, so I'm no stranger to Foci) as a commuter/utility car, since DDing my 10mpg truck is starting to hurt. If you don't mind me picking your brain, shoot me an email. Thanks!
