Purchased for the princely sum of $3500, it runs absolutely excellent and the frame is rock solid. It has a smattering of upgrades including electronic ignition, H4 bulb crystal headlights, a rear tube shock conversion, and Konis all around. The body has a thin layer of Bondo throughout but is really quite solid and definitely has restoration potential. The interior leaves much to be desired with a cheap-o Grant wheel and a virtually destroyed dash panel, but everything is there and all the gauges work. Oh, yeah, the car also came with a classy black vinyl hardtop, a new shift boot, a new front grille, and an elusive blower motor in perfect working order.

7/27/08 - Picked up the car from Clintonville, WI - 127 miles from my hometown of Milwaukee. About 45 miles into the trip, the car suddenly sputtered to a stop, naturally because the electrical system quit working. A main fuse was replaced and we were good to go. Sadly the main fuse took the headlights with it, but the lighting was good enough at dusk to continue home with marker lights only.

7/28/08 - Spent the day polishing, cleaning, and replacing sections of wire/spade connectors throughout the car. Also undid the stereo wiring hackjob, which has really helped clean up the interior.

Pricey sum of $3500?!!! Are you kidding me? That is the absolute steal of the century! I haven’t seen a rough TR6 for under $5k and ones that look as nice as your’s are fetching $15k. That is one beautiful car and one helluva find!

If you're reading this, you've probably seen these odd links with funny names somewhere on the site and want to know what they're all about. Well, prepare to feel a bit more Net savvy. Those links are what the geeks call "social networks."

Social networking sites allow you to store and share links and pages across the Internet. It's like taking your bookmarks list and being able to see it from any computer.

Even better, social networks allow you to steer friends, relatives, colleagues and pretty much anyone else to the cool stuff you've found, so they have something better to do online than watching the skateboarding squirrel video on YouTube for the thirtieth time. You're making the world a better place.

The only catch is that while all the social networks are free, you do have to register. Each site has a slightly different focus, so take a look through the links and see which service suits you best.
