Friends help you move; Great friends help you move dead bodies; F'ing amazing friends help you move dead Miatae!

Picked up this little '91 w/ 151k miles from the original owner for $500. She needed it gone quickly because she had sold her house and the new owners would be moving in soon.

It was parked for three years in the dampness of Boulder Creek, CA, with a "clutch or tranny issue." Interior is mildewed to hell (note interior moisture in pic), paint is peeling, but over all the body is in great shape w/ a little surface rust that should buff right out (really!). Bonus: they'd swapped the ragtop for a '99/'00 glass window top a few years ago and it's in great shape.

Rebuild kit is cheaper! Most of the time it is the cup seal, fine grit sand paper around a wooden dowel or pencil, to take out any ridges. new seal and spring, and you're back in buisness!

Quick add on: On the other hand, a Miata clutch master, is so easy to do either way works. I've litterally done one in the DARK with no lights in about 20 minutes. Just be sure to pump it till fluid comes out before attaching the lines. It makes bleeding it that much easier.
