Out of MG’s into the world of Triumph! Purchased TR 250 in 1983 for 50.00. 3.5 year restoration, mostly RF parts all original. Commuted to work for the next 8 years without problems Yeh!. Minor restore in 92,driving the next few years mostly in FL then moved to GA. Drive in the NC mountains. Put on blocks in 97 to race TR6 Street Prepared SCCA Solo II. Wrecked at VTR regional in 02 after winning the race. Poor track design hit a tree. left Triumph cars for 7 years. 2009 Rejoined GTA, Began restoring TR250 in July 2010, Started working for Barry Rosenberg, British Car Services in Atlanta. Finished mechanical restoration in Nov. Started commuting from Lawrenceville GA to Marietta 50 miles each way every day. Car has held up well. Finishing outside paint work next week March 8th, excited to actually finish. Have gone fully original and solid driver. Love the reliability of my 250 and no car payments.
