BIGger oil cooler.

Ever since I upgraded the cam and have raised the RPMs up I am having oil heat issues. Anything above a cool day (about 65°-70°F) and about 10 minutes of abuse and the oil temps would start going up to ...

New Exhaust Part 2

I finally got around to re-doing the exhaust. I replaced my header with a new (not broken in 3 places) version of the same exact part number. Which, fortunately did not have the same collector style (old was 3 bolt ...

Fuel System Upgrades

I have been running short of fuel at the top end of my RPM band, so after a few attempts to solve the problem without having to change the fuel pump, I finally decided to upgrade the fuel pump. The ...

Restoring Alternator

Pretty much the only thing in the engine bay that hasn't been completely restored and cleaned up is the alternator, so I finally got around to taking care of that task. I completely disassembled it and was planning on replacing ...

Rebuilt Spare Transmission

So I got a transmission from a 74 Celica GT in the local junk yard. Made me very sad to see it there, with absolutely no rust, perfect frame rails, and only 55,000 original miles on it. But alas I ...

Pungo Auto-X (12/06/09) 720HD Video

Well went to the last auto-x of the season. Car did great, and it was the first time I got to use my Hero HD camcorder. Works amazingly well! Can't beat this camera with anything (I've tested a lot of ...

Dual Ignition Boxes

So I've gone through 3 ignition boxes in the past year. I had originally planned to try MSD, but I've found that MSD has even worse failure rates than Crane boxes do. I also realized, that no matter what, none ...

TSCC ACU-4 Auctocross

Another auto-x at ACU-4 with Tidewater Sports Car Club. Was pretty fun, and the car did really well. It's a shame that the LSD is broken, I swear it works better now that it's broken than it did when it ...

Front Suspension Pics

Since I've had the Celica, the driver door has ever so slightly been rubbing the front fender when I open and close it because of the wore out door hinges. So I finally got around to making some shims to ...

Pungo Auto-X (10/04/09)

So I went to an SCCA auto-x a couple weekends ago. Went pretty good, but I made a mistake in setup. I changed out my rear springs for some stiffer ones predicting that the car would understeer. Well, I think ...

GRM Stickers

Ok so it's not really what you would call an "update". But it seems kind of wrong that I advertise this place, and I don't have pictures of it on here. So yeah.
