Fuel System Upgrades Feb 8, 2011

I have been running short of fuel at the top end of my RPM band, so after a few attempts to solve the problem without having to change the fuel pump, I finally decided to upgrade the fuel pump. The new pump is 130gph @ 9psi, vs the 15gph @ 1psi I had (had I know the one I had was that lame I would have done this a long time ago, and wouldn’t have made such a massive un-needed jump either.) And it also turns out that the banjo bolt filters (didn’t even know there were filters there) on the carbs were a little stopped up with paint flakes…..but as it is I guess I’m good to go if I want to do a turbo V8 swap now lol. The fuel pump is located in the trunk with the filter, and the regulator I mounted onto the firewall using existing bolt holes, and a couple of brackets.
