76 914 With GT look and 2003 1.8t engine and transmision. Carrera front end/brakes, Boxster shift mechanism and Quaiffe diff= alot of reliable fun!

The car is still running and driving well these days. Been working on Boxster brakes …

M030:: What transmission did you use? Did you make a front-drive Audi transaxle work? Awesome car! I'd love to see more pictures of the engine/transmission installation.

okieflyr:: I used a built up 901 for the first two years, and have since installed an 012 Passat/Boxster transmission with a Boxster cable shift setup. The gearing is better suited to this motor, and it now shifts like a modern car.
