Purchased my 2013 Scion (Asphalt) on 5/23...and took delivery 5/25/2012.

This is the sportscar I've always been wanting - nice sexy looks, a superb chassis, everyday driver comfort and reliability, and easy on consumables when tracked.

It's a blast on track stock except for wheels/tires...stock brake system could be better and would definitely use better pads and fluids to feel comfortable pushing it 100%, but I had tons of fun pushing it 90ish % in open tracking sessions at MSR Houston.

Now that I've had it for nearly 3 years, with driving that's included tracking, cross country trips to desert climate/high altitudes, and daily driver duty, I can honestly say I love the car. It is the epitome of a car that you share the driving experience with, it doesn't drive for you and neither does it not obey you - with the FR-S the driver and car are one. Never have felt this way about the previous 'fun' cars ('90 Integra RS [track modded car], '91 Civic CRX Si, '98 Camaro base coupe Hardtop [track modded car], '05 Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS.)

As for changes from stock the following has been done: - Replaced the stock exhaust with a Swift Racing Technologies catback system due to not being pleased with the stock sound. Replaced the SRT exhaust tips April 2015 with Burns Stainless 2.5" to 3.5" transitional pieces due to cracking. - Replaced the stock shift knob with the Team Voodoo ball shifter off my Tacoma (factory knob back on Tacoma for now) - Replaced stock accelerator pedal cover with one that put it ~ 3/4" closer to the brake pedal for much improved throttle bliping. - JPM Coachworks Alcantara shifter boot, hand brake boot, and dash guage pod cover. - Did custom intake system from after stock airbox to right before throttlebody. - Replaced stock paper air filter with K&N filter. - Oil changed to 5-W30 (Currently running Royal Purple) - Running smaller and lighter tire size of 205/45-17 (Kumho Sport LE's) mounted to 17x7.5 wheels (Enkei Fujins) nearly 4lbs lighter than the stock setup makes for a smoother and more precise ride, and the car is much more responsive than stock. - Radium oil catch can with custom designed and built bracket that mounts it to the passenger side strut brace.

Do have other mods planed which focus on making it better able to handle stress (Brake system upgrades, cooling upgrades, gauge upgrades [oil pressure/temp]) but really don't plan on touching the suspension other than being able to get more camber dialed up front. Once the dampers wear out then I'll upgrade to either Bilstein or Koni units and maybe Racecomp Yellow Springs, but most likely won't change anything else.
