This car was the bee’s knees. Bought to replace my treasured RX-7 - imported by the original owner from Germany via San Fransisco in 1987, I owned it for two years. 5-speed, stripper model (light!), and a hi-comp 2.7L L-Jetronic engine made it a lot of fun. Eventually traded my friend’s little brother for his Coupe Quattro and $1000 cash. Hey, it needed a timing chain. I plan to buy this car back when the current owner blows it up.
