1995 Mazda Targa Miata rally special
Added on May 15 by Keith
Built from a bare shell for the Targa Newfoundland rally. The engine is bored and stroked and runs 11.5:1 compression with a complex home-built header. The suspension was built for as much travel as possible and the car was stripped for light weight. It’s now 2100 lbs wet with a full cage and hardtop. The Martini stripes are based on the design used on the Lancia Delta Integrale rally cars, and they’re all paint.
The whole car was built in my garage, right down to shooting the paint. It currently holds the track record for Miatas at our local track.
