1987 Mazda RX-7 GXL
Added on April 2 by YaNi

I purchased this nearly rust free specimen in February 2009 to be used as a donor shell. It started its life as a luxury model with the optional slushbox.

Once the engine bay is painted I am installing a complete S5 non-turbo drivetrain from my rusted out 1990 GTU, which has been sitting for over a year.

Suspension: Falken RT-615 Azenis 225/45ZR17, 17x8” Mustang Cobra wheels, KYB AGX adjustable dampers, Tanabe GF-210 springs, Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings, Mazdaspeed engine, transmission, and differential mounts

Engine: Stock - for now

Estimated time of completion: As soon as possible; summer’s almost over (in Ohio…)

Hey, same year and trim level as mine, just in a different color… and in pieces. Good luck with the swap.
