Dear Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, sorry for staying away for 15 years. Um, we’ve been busy. You know how it goes. You get busy raising a magazine and, next thing you know, the mid-‘90s are long gone and it’s like 2011.
But hey, thanks for taking us back this past weekend. Me and Mrs. Editor had an awesome time. We even wound up at the same turn we visited last time. Plus we got to see Monster Tajima break the 10-minute mark.
Don’t worry, I promise we won’t wait another 15 years until our next visit.
